To use as an outdoor water feature pump...
Screw the 19mm hose connector (included free of charge) directly into the pump outlet instead of the fountain attachment, which is not required. If your water is clean you can also remove the sponge pre-filter but if debris may collect in your water feature leave it in place and give it a clean occasionally
