Weed Control Membrane, sometimes called Ground Control Membrane is a black woven polypropylene material which is UV stable, weather resistant and long lasting, as used by professional landscapers. Used as ground cover to exclude light from weeds but still allows water and air to pass through keeping the soil in healthy condition. This product carries a 10 year guarantee. Simply clear and level the soil, peg down the membrane. To fix this product to the ground we recommend Metal Ground Staples or Plastic Pegs (black polypropylene, barbed shaft, wide head), use 1 staple or peg every metre all around the edge of the product, or wherever there is an overlap with another strip. You can use fewer than this if you are covering with heavy aggregates such as gravel/cobbles. To plant through the membrane make X shaped cuts where needed.
