Solar Water Features are the easiest of all to set up with no cables or wiring necessary. They are perfectly safe and most are self-contained and come complete with the solar panel which generates the power.
There are disadvantages and one of the main ones is that there is a trade off in power. No solar feature will match the flow generated by a mains operated pump, but they will produce the pleasing sound of trickling water in the garden without any hassle. The only other problem is that your feature will only operate with a satisfactory level of sunlight
If you want ease of use, and aren't so bothered about having a strong flow, then a solar feature may be the ideal choice
