Trachycarpus fortunei or Chusan Plam is the hardiest palm tree and very suitable for growing in the UK, but we still advise wrapping the leaves in fleece in winter to protect them from being wind damaged or grow in a pot & bring into an unheated greenhouse in winter. Grows as a single trunk which will make 1.5m in ten years given good growing conditions. Trachycarpus fortunei likes sun, shelter & well drained soil best.
Supplied in 7.5 litre pot - good stocky plants with at least 5 or 6 large leaves. The overall height approx. 60 cm including pot, with a small trunk formed of approx. 15 cm. Shipped within 3 days
