Tarragon Seed - Russian

A strong growing type of tarragon with a mild aniseed flavour. Hardier and easier to grow than the French version but with a less distinct aniseed taste. Use in dressings and in poultry or fish dishes. Although hardy the flavour is poor in winter so freeze the leaves for winter use

• Sow indoors from March to May in pots or trays of moist compost
