Made from Acacia Hardwood from properly managed plantations. Acacia is a stable, durable and makes an ideal hardwood for garden furniture. To get the perfect finish the timber is kiln dried, stained and then oiled to achieve the warm golden colour of this garden bench

Care and Maintenance
Much care is taken during manufacture and finishing to ensure this product offers years of pleasure. However, as with all garden furniture subjected to the elements, it is necessary to to provide a little care and maintenance to ensure lasting satisfaction. We recommend that all garden furniture is dried off and stored away at the end of the autumn

Hardwood Timber
Timber used on the hardwood range is kiln dried Ironwood, Acacia or Keruing. Cast iron benches have slats made from Oak or Ash. As a natural product, any timber will deteriorate on exposure to the elements and needs regular treatment with teak oil or other hardwood protector. We recommend an application after assembly and then periodically during use. Even with regular maintenance small cracks or splits can occur and the grain may lift which should not affect the strength of the wood. We suggest the timber be allowed to dry and lightly sanded with glass-paper before receiving an application of teak oil
