Shallot Golden Gourmet is an improved yellow variety which can be planted in very early spring. It's mild taste make it excellent for pickling. Golden Gourmet shallots are easy to grow, just like onions, plant in spring, shoot just poking through, 15cm apart in rows. Best in sun & fertile soil. For the heaviest crops rake in high potassium fertiliser prior to planting and keep rows weed free. Bulbs supplied in varying sizes between 7 to 14mm.
