Shortages, Damaged or Defective items

You must inform us within 7 days in writing or by email of any shortages, or if any part of your order is incorrect, damaged or defective. Please keep the item/s and the packaging.  Click on this link to for our Contact Us page. Incorrect, damaged or defective items will be replaced as soon as possible

28 Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We have a 28 day 'No Quibble' Satisfaction Guarantee, so if you do not wish to keep any item for any reason please return it to our Doncaster address within that period for a refund. We do not pay the return carriage/postage but we can arrange it for you and deduct the cost from your refund.  In line with most online retailers, any goods returned for a refund must be undamaged and in their original packaging. 28 Day Plant Guarantee

Our 28 Day Satisfaction Guarantee applies to all plants and you can return any item within 28 days of the purchase date and get a full refund. We do not pay the return carriage/postage but we can arrange it for you and deduct the cost from your refund. We do not accept responsibility for plants beyond 28 days as their health is subject to weather conditions and the customer's care regime, both of which are factors beyond our control

Termination of Hardy Plant Guarantee

Unfortunately we have been forced to end our Hardy Plant Guarantee due to the recent severe winter and the increasing popularity of growing plants in pots, however there may be a some references to this guarantee in our online store which haven't been removed as yet. We know our regular customers will be disappointed but severe bad weather and aftercare are both circumstances beyond our control.  All plants will continue to be covered by our 28 day 'No Quibble' Satisfaction Guarantee, so if you are unhappy about the condition of your plant within this time please contact us

Paying by Paypal - non return of transaction fee
In exceptional circumstances we may agree to providing a refund beyond our 28 Day Satisfaction Guarantee Period. If you have paid by Paypal, and the transaction was older than 60 days we will refund the total amount less the transaction fee we have paid to Paypal, this is equivalent to £3 in every £100 spent. This is because unlike credit and debit card issuers, Paypal will not refund our transaction fee if the transaction is older than 60 days
