"Ferns are a very under-utilised group of plants, not just for shady borders and ferneries. Many make fantastic container plants, albeit in shadier spots.
This is a tough evergreen fern with classic looks that last all year, and look great in frosts. Called a shield fern as each year it produces a new whorl of fronds, sheltered by the older ones. Upright in growth to 75cm tall. Grow in larger in pots, or in the border, in light shade.
Easy to manage, cut off any dead fronds to the base. Supplied height and spread approx. 30cm including pot
