Uncle Toms Rose Tonic is a new liquid plant food used by professional rose growers and recommended by the British Rose Growers Association. This special Rose Food not only feeds roses but it promotes healthier growth and dramatically improves disease resistance. Multipurpose fertilisers contain too much nitrogen which can promote soft, lush growth which is prone to disease. Uncle Toms Rose Tonic is translocated to all parts of the plant through leaves and roots, delivering essential elements of phosphorus and potassium where they are most needed. The improved uptake of P and K counteracts the effects of soil fixation to optimise growing conditions, especially at times of rapid growth. Research has shown that potassium phosphite, the main ingredient, will improve almost every crop. Uncle Toms Rose Tonic can be used as a foliar spray or as a drench. Dilute 10ml in 1 litre of water, the tonic is supplied in an easy to measure bottle. As a rough guide a 500ml bottle will treat approxiamtely 50 rose bushes for one season.
