Crocosmia Venus is a new variety of this hardy herbaceous perennial which grows from a bulb. A makes a spectacular clump of sword shaped leaves after just a few years, and each pair of leaves has a spike of bright orange, funnel shaped flowers, with a golden yellow centre, from June to September. Cocosmia Venus grows to 60cm (2ft). Sun or part shade, well drained soil. Supplied in a 2 litre size, a good potful of flowering size plants, height depends on time of year ordered, from June onwards they will have flowered and be cut back, in winter they will be dormant but can still be planted.
