New variety of Penstemon with rich purple flowers. Penstemon Plum Jerkum is a hardy perennial with mid green foliage which is almost evergreen. They make excellent cottage garden plants with long lasting flowers appear through summer and autumn. Penstemons likes full sun or part shade & fertile, well drained soil. Cut back the old foliage each spring. Ht 40cm. Penstemon Plum Jerkum is subject to plant breeders rights and propogating this variety is currently prohibited
Supplied in a 1 litre pot, good bushy plants (actual plants shipped are shown in the photo), will be flowering next summer. They may be dormant if you are buying them through the winter months but as they are pot grown they can still be planted. Height depends on time of year shipped, in summer they will be 30cm+.
