Licuala grandis is a spectacular palm with a single, slim trunk and huge rounded, slightly pleated leaves. A good conservatory or house palm, needs some shade, morning sun is ok, or dappled shade. Licuala grandis really is an indoor palm and dislikes the cold or draughts. This palm also likes to be misted now and again to maintain humidity. Keep fairly dry in winter, minimum temp. 15C.
