Hedychium gardnerianum 'Ginger Lily'

£12.99

Matt James says

"These exotic looking plants are close relatives of Ginger, and produce brilliant coloured flowers in Autumn, especially after hot, dry summers.  They are a bit slow to get away each Spring, but grow very quickly in hot, sunny spots.

For best flowering, feed and water frequently - any general purpose plant food will do.  They can get to about 1.5m tall, and produce massive flowers spikes in Autumn. Once flowered, let them die down, and cut back to base. Best to lift tubers and keep them dry overwinter, or bring pots cut back inside. True exotic, and quite unusual, but well worth it"

This variety has giant heads of brilliant yellow, fragrant flowers; dark orange stigmas from each flower provide a stunning contrast with the petals. Supplied height approx. 40 to 60cm excluding pot, with at least three shoots per pot.  Available within 5 days
