Erica arborea Alberts Gold is a Tree Heather with amazing golden yellow foliage. Tree Heathers make great specimen plants which grow to 1.2 to 1.5m tall. Erica arborea Alberts Gold has small off white flowers which are honey scented. Perfectly frost hardy, they will grow in sun or part shade but do need acid soils, alternatively grow in pots of ericaceous compost, keep them moist with rainwater and feed occasionally with ericaceous feed. Planting them in ericaceous compost mixed with soil will keep them happy for a year or two. When small they look great in winter patio pots. All heathers should be trimmed after flowering to keep them bushy. Give them a feed at the same time.
Supplied as young plants in 10cm pots, height approx. 15cm, these are not small plugs plants. Fantastic Value. Photo shows the flowers of a green form of Tree Heather (not Alberts Gold which has golden yellow foliage). Shipped in 1 - 3 days
