Grape Vine 'Golden Champion'

£14.99

Golden Champion is a fairly recent introduction and produces large green grapes which become golden yellow when they are fully ripe. It is the closest thing to a supermarket type grape that you can grow at home. Golden Champion grows best under glass although it will produce a good crop outdoors in warmer parts of the country, especially grown against a sunny wall. It is very suitable for an unheated greenhouse and will not be affected by frost. Produces large bunches of sweet grapes that ripen in most summers but needs full sun & good feeding. Cut back to main framework in spring. If grown indoors it is best planted in the ground, either in the greenhouse or outside the greenhouse with the main trunk trained to grow inside. If you have to grow it in a pot use the largest pot available and plant in John Innes Compost

Supplied in a 3 litre deep pot, grafted plants with a main stem about the thickness of a pencil. Height approx. 70-90cm. Shipped within 2 days
