Nut, Medlar and Mulberry Trees

Nut Trees make an excellent addition to the garden as they are very reliable and highly productive. If you have a small garden you will still have room for a hazelnut tree but walnuts grow large so only people with large gardens should choose these.  Hazels are partly self fertile so you can get away with growing a single tree and still get nuts but you do get a better crop by growing two different varieties. Medlars, Mulberries and Quince are self fertile
