Hidcote is one of the best English Lavenders with violet blue flowers and fragrant grey/green foliage. It is a hardy, evergreen shrub which grows to 45cm (1.5ft). Sun/part shade, well drained soil. Lavender Hidcote should be cut back hard after flowering to keep it bushy as new growth will not come from the old wood
