Like blueberries, cranberries need moist acid soil (or grow in pots of ericaceous compost). Cranberries are low growing and make good ground cover plants. Very frost hardy. Water with rainwater and feed with ericaceous feed through spring and summer. They dislike waterlogged conditions but like being just moist so don't compact the compost
