Availability
All items are subject to availability. We try to keep the on-line store stock number updated regularly but the items we sell on the site are also on sale in our retail shop, this means we may not be able to deliver your item, even if it is showing as available from the on-line store. To check current availability you can call us on 01302 782585. Free items are promotions only available to on-line store customers. These items are subject to availability and limited to one per customer and one per address. Our normal delivery charges apply to free items
Vat
All prices shown include Vat, where applicable at the standard rate. Our parent company is Scawsby Hall Nurseries and the Vat registration number is 789 4792 46. We trade by mail order and online as The Plant Directory
Price changes and payment
All prices, including any charges for packing and delivery, are subject to change without notice. However, we will advise you of any increase before despatch and you will have the option of cancelling the order. If you place an order by phone we will advise an approximate delivery time and if this is acceptable we will debit your card immediately. If you order on-line we will normally not debit your card until despatch of your order is imminent. Where we have to order larger goods from a third party e.g. some large garden furniture we will normally debit your card at the time we receive the order to ensure there is no problem with the payment information provided
Substitutes
We will not send substitute items if the ones you order are not available
Cancellation
You may cancel your order at anytime without penalty but please let us know as soon as possible. Any goods already shipped must be returned to us in their original condition before we refund your payment. We will arrange for the free return of any goods but the order must be packed securely and be available for collection between 9am and 5pm during the week
Guarantees
All purchases are covered by our 14 day Satisfaction Guarantee and if you decide not to keep an item you can return it free of charge and obtain a full refund. To arrange a return please email us using the link on the 'Contact' page. In addition to this guarantee, all frost hardy plants are guaranteed for 2 years. If any should fail to thrive within that period please contact us to arrange for a collection & replacement. If you are not sure whether a plant is covered by our 'Hardy Plant Guarantee' please call us on 01302 782585. Where an item is covered by a manufacturers guarantee, please retain your packaging & invoice for the period of the guarantee. In the event of a claim being necessary contact us for advice as some items can be returned to ourselves while others have to be sent back to the manufacturer
Completion
We cannot be held responsible for any upset or losses which occur as a result of us not being able to supply any items. We also reserve the right to refuse any order
Disclaimer & Liability
Please note that named species and cultivars are described and supplied in good faith. However, if you find that the plants supplied are not of the type you ordered please contact us to arrange a replacement or refund. Any liability due to our inabilty to supply, late delivery or the delivery of an incorrect item is limited to the value of the order and excludes any consequential loss
Promotions & Offers
We reserve the right to change or discontinue any promotions and offers without notice. If you place an order linked to a promotion or offer which we have subsequently changed or withdrawn you can cancel the order without financial penalty
