Clematis orientalis is a hardy climber with orange recurved flowers & attractive tassled seed heads through winter. Clematis orientalis is very vigorous, covers a large area quickly which may be an advantage. Cut back to 30cm in spring, or anytime to remove tangles. Sun or part shade, any fertile soil suitable
