Chamerops humilis or the Dwarf Fan Palm is one of the hardiest palms and suitable for growing outside in the UK, but it's still best to wrap leaves in fleece in winter to protect them from being wind damaged or grow in a pot & bring into an unheated greenhouse in winter. Chamaerops humilis likes sun, shelter & well drained soil best. 

Grows to a height of approximately 1.2m (4ft) in 10 years. Normally produces suckers to make a bushy clump. Supplied in a 3 litre pot, small trunk starting to form, overall height approx. 40cm with six or seven leaves
