Centranthus ruber, also known as Red Valerian and Untidy Betty is a medicinal herb with fragrant red flowers in summer. Centranthus ruber is very attractive to insects such as bees, butterflies, hoverflies, & hummingbird hawk moth. Likes full sun and well drained soil. Ht to 60cm but tends to flop over before getting to this height.
