Sarracenia flava has tall yellow pitchers with red veins in the throat of the pitcher. Bright yellow flowers are produced in spring. Sarracenia flava, like other Sarracenias, is one of the easiest carnivorous plants to grow. They do best in full sun, in a conservatory or unheated greenhouse. They should be stood in about 2.5cm of rainwater from March to October. Keep just moist in the winter months and trim any dead foliage off. Special compost for Sarracenias available as an optional extra (with no extra shipping charge)
