Carnivorous Plants

Carnivorous Plants are a wonder of nature, living in wet, boggy conditions with low nutrient levels, has led them to supplement their diet by catching and digesting a wide range of insects, including flies, mosquitos and midges. Some are very easy to grow and a fascinating introduction to plant care for children of all ages

The important things to remember is that they must have rainwater, as the chemicals in tap water can poison them, and never use any type of fertiliser, they get all the nutrients they need from the insects they catch.
