Carex 'Coman's Bronze'

"This is so like a mophead of hair, there is even a selection called The Beatles! Brown all year round - no it's not dead - it provides interesting flowing textures to grass beds, and pots. Great dotted round gravel beds or at the front of borders too, if well drained. Carex Coman's Bronze is at it's best in hot sunny spots. Simply comb out any old leaves with your fingers once a year. Grows to about 35cm tall, with a wide spread of about 60cm in a floppy kind of way"
