"The cheapest and best way to get an exotic feel in your garden, yet really easy too. There are loads of colours and types - dwarf and tall, green or coloured leaves, with flowers from yellow to orange and red.
Once they start growing each year, feed and water well. The hotter and sunnier spot the better. They can grow really quickly in full Summer, and start flowering from July, through to the first frosts. To be safe cut them back, and dig up the tubers. However, in all but the coldest winters they are fine in well drained soils or pots"
