Alliums are increasingly popular plants with large rounded heads of tiny star like flowers in June/July. Allium Purple Sensation has medium sized purple globes up to 10cm across in mature plants. Ht. 90cm. Allium Purple Senatation makes an excellent cut flower. Plant in full sun & well drained soil. The flowers get bigger and better each year as the bulb grows. They are frost hardy and ideal for naturalising in the garden.
