Blanket weed is a fast growing filamentous algae. It forms strong mat-like growth that is not only unsightly but can clog and damage pumps and filters. This newly designed Electronic Blanket Weed Controller has a unique microprocessor which emits varying radio frequencies through antennae cables provided. This disrupts the calcium ions in the water and causes the blanket weed's cells to break up.
The controller is easy to install and effective in ponds up to 23000 litres (5060 gallons). It's as simple as winding the antennae around a short section of your pond hose and switching the unit on!
