Beschoneria yuccoides Quicksilver is similar to a Yucca in many ways, but more upright in growing. It produces wide, grey-green leaves, almost a hint of bluish, and quite fleshy. Looks great in zinc or metallic planters, in full hot sun or light shade, Grows about 1.5 m tall. Once established, in summer it erupts into the most outrageous red orange flowers stems over 1m long. Make sure you use grit in the planting hole for free drainage, and move inside if below -2C in winter, otherwise no maintenance at all
