Bay Tree Quarter Standard

Starting at: £17.99

Very popular topiary specimens that look great in pots outside the house. Evergreen, dark green aromatic foliage used in cooking especially for a bouquet garni. These trees are the best quality and grown in Italy but still perfectly hardy. The trees will only grow a few centimetres taller. The ball of foliage can be trimmed each year in June/July to maintain it's shape. Re-pot in John Innes Compost, feed monthly in spring and summer

The ones supplied are the same style as the picture but a larger version, of equally fine quality, because we never buy them without selecting them ourselves. In a 5 litre black pot, trained as a standard with an overall height of approx 1 to 1.2m. The bare stem will be about 60cm not including the pot and well formed ball of foliage on top of this height, foliage diameter approx. 30 to 35cm. Specially selected for having the straightest stems available. These are really excellent value. Can be supplied in a tall terracotta pot (as pictured) as an optional extra. If you order more than one we will do our best to ensure they match each other
