Apple Tree James Grieve

£29.99

James Grieve is a popular dual purpose apple, useful when you can't decide between a cooker and eater, as it can be used as a dessert or cooking apple. Green fruit with a red flush, good flavour and slightly softer flesh than many modern varieties. Very frost tolerant so good for growing in the north. Harvest from August onwards. James Grieve needs a pollinator but another apple tree, even a crab apple within a few hundred metres will suffice

Bush trees make the fruit easy to pick and will only reach 2 to 3m. Supplied in a 7.5 litre pot, height approx. 1.5-1.8m (5-6ft) including pot, well developed fruit bearing size tree. Shipped within 3 days. A care guide is provided with this plant
