A fully hardy aloe, Aloe striatula has long pointed toothed leaves and pretty flowers like a yellow form of the familiar 'red hot pokers'. A superb exotic which can be grown in pots or planted out in full sun and well drained soil. Equally at home in a conservatory where it will grow to 1.2m. If it gets too big or straggly Aloe striatula can be just chopped back and new shoots will emerge from the cut stems
