Alchemilla mollis or Lady's Mantle is a frost hardy perennial, very useful for dry shade. The lime green foliage covered in fine silvery hairs which repel water droplets making them sit on the leaf like jewels. Alchemilla mollis has sprays of yellowish flowers in summer. Makes a good groundcover plant, reducing weed growth. Eventual ht 40cm, spread 60cm in 3 years. Alchemilla will grow in sun or shade, very tolerant of dry soils. Fully hardy but dies back in winter. Remove old foliage in autumn or spring. Split up the clumps every three years
